About the event
Internationally acclaimed soloist Lore Amenabar Larrañaga presents a recital of works performed on both the classical accordion and her self-designed quarter-tone accordion. Her program includes music of César Franck, and J.S Bach and features American premieres by Christopher Fox, Michael Finnissy, and Veli Kujala.
This is a co-production with the Embassy of Spain and the King Juan Carlos I of Spain Center at NYU.
